Dragon Nest - INDONESIA 'Skill Build' Silver Hunter PVE Guide

Silver Hunter PVE Guide

DN 2015-12-25 18-24-46 Fri

[Introduction]

I heard that DN NA and DN INA is getting Silver Hunter soon, so here is a guide for SH beginners. I had a lot of fun playing this class. I will not talk about DPS ranking in this guide because that changes every month.
Silver Hunter act as a light element DPS class in a party.
Silver Hunter uses Crossbow as main weapon and is a INT and light element based class.
I guess the version of Silver Hunter will be the newest one when released in DN NA or DN INA, so I wrote this guide based on the newest version.
If you get the first version instead, there is not much changes except the aerial combo of Silver Hunter is slightly harder in the newer version.
SliverHunterConceptArtTransparent
Some extra information on Silver Hunter:
1. Silver Hunter has a special page for character creation like Dark Avenger
2. You CANNOT class change from other archer class to SH
3. You will be in Hunter class after creation, the awaken(job change) mission is on level 50
4. Your Hunter is on level 1 after creation.
5. For DNKR and DNTW event, you will get a set of +8 Felis gear, a set of costume, and a white(silver?) wolf mount after getting to lv90.
6. For DNKR and DNTW, a special costume for SH only is available on cash shop. The appearance is the same as a SH after transform without wings.
7. By the news shown in DNNA future content stream, this update patch will come with the skill balance of DNKR 11 Now, 9 Dec, 6 Jan Update. And the update on SH happens in DNKR 6 Jan update patch so you should be getting the newest version of SH.

CoreSkillIcon

Skill1-1Silver Hunter (Transformation)

Transform into Silver Hunter, Duration 60s
CD 120s, could be reduced to 90s with Silver Hunter EX(B)
Convert 12% INT into Matk (15% with tech +1, 18% with +2)

Able to use tumble in air. It cost you 7 “stamina” every time you use air tumble.
You will get 1 stamina every 1s after learning Silver Hunter.
And you could have 10 stamina at most
skill1-1
The most important skill of Silver Hunter. A SH without transformation is weak.
Unlike Dark Avenger’s Transformation, SH’s has a long CD, so buff clear in nests is deadly to SH. Make sure you get a CD skill plate for this skill if you plan to use SH in Red Dragon Nest.
Recommended to get a technique Necklace for this skill, and a cash shop technique plate if possible.
Could be used in air. The motion of this skill is the same as Sniper’s Cheating Point when cast on ground, and the same as Acrobat’s Eagle Dive when cast in air.

Class Mastery (lv65 passive)

When you hit any enemy with Spiral Bolt, Aerial Wild Shot, Arrow Storm, Deluge Bolt and Raging Wind, the remaining CD of Silver Hunter will be reduced for 3s
The remaining CD of Silver Hunter Transformation reduce 3s for every skill, and you should hit something with those skill to activate Class Mastery.
This skill is important because it allows you to remain in SH transformation.

2. Main DPS Skills

The arrow shower part could does 32 hits, each hits does 100% board damage.
The large holy arrow have only 1 hit that does 100% board damage.
So the maximum damage of this skill on lv 18 is 70%*32+846% = 3086%
There is currently a bug on this skill that if you left click before the arrow shower does all 32 hits, the holy arrow will do no damage.

Skill2-3Arrow Storm

Shoot an arrow straightly.
If it hits an enemy(or any object), it explodes and does 8 hits damage.
If it doesn’t hit anything, it turns into 5 tracking arrows.

lv13: 2024%
Light element
Does 7 hits. The first 6 hits does 15% board damage and the last hit does 10% board damage.
It is an important skill because of the armor break effect, but it has a long CD so it is recommended to get a CD plate for this skill.

Skill2-7Tornado Shot

Shoot an arrow which will become a tornado when it hits anything.
It shoots horizontally when cast on ground.
Could be cast in air no matter you have SH transformation or not.
It has i-frame when cast in air.

Tornado Shot and Tornado Shot Instant share CD.

I don’t usually use it because of the long casting animation, but it is a good skill for its high burst damage.

3. Falcon

FalconSkillIcon

Skill3-1Summon Falcon

Summon a falcon to fight by your side.
This falcon could last forever before you cancel it and it is invincible(Divine Avatar level).
skill3-1
CD: 60s
If you choose A in Function Enhancement, the falcon could do 3x of its original damage but it will leave after 60s.
Falcon Strike and Falcon Rise are passive skills that will automatically cast by your falcon.
This falcon could do a lot of damage for you, so it is recommended to get both of its skill to high level.
Falcon will also transform after you transform into Silver Hunter, and it gets about 10%(not yet confirmed) damage buff after transform. The base stat of falcon is based on the moment that you summon it, so make sure you use SH transformation first before summon falcon.
Falcon do not have elemental effect on its attack.

Normal Attack

Board Damage: 100%

Skill3-2Falcon Strike

skill3-2
CD: 5s
lv1: 452%

TrapSkillIcon

Skill4-1Trap Master

Make 10 traps.

trapMenu

Skill4-2Trapper

Set the traps you make with Trap Master.
Set 1 trap each time you cast this skill.
The trap last for 30s and explode when any enemy step on it.
skill4-2
CD: 1s
lv1: 994%, 721%, 617%
lv5: 1120%, 793%, 677%
(Explosive, Freezing, Stunning)
Explosive traps gives fire element damage.
Freezing traps gives ice element damage and has 40% chance to freeze.
Stunning traps gives light element damage and blind your enemy(PVP).
This skill in PVE is only useful for the freezing function. Most players do not use this skill because a SH usually spend most of her time flying and would not spend time on placing traps. And Trap Master cost 10sp, Trapper cost at least 3sp, which is too much for SH.

5. Buff/Supportive Skills

SupportSkillIcon

Skill5-1Liberty Attack

Hit the enemy in a short range in front of you, shoot an arrow and jump backward if it hits something.
skill5-1
CD: 15s
lv1: 1086%
lv6: 1360%
lv9: 1428%
Light element
Does 3 hits in total. The first hit does 10% board damage, the second hit does 90%. The third hit activates only when the second hit hits something, and the third hit does 100% board damage. So it does a total of 2x board damage.
The skill used to activate your instant skill. Liberty Attack itself does a decent damage so you could choose to get it to high level.

Skill5-2Monkey Catch

Could be cast with either shift+spacebar or by using it directly on your skill bar.
You could only jump forward or backward with this skill.
Left click after the first jump will jump forward once more and due damage.
Right click after the first jump will jump backward.
skill5-2
CD: 7s on level 1, reduce 1s every 1 level.
(3s on max level, 2s with tech+1, 1s with +2)
The damage is negligible.
Invincible during the whole skill animation.
Someone like to get a technique asscessory for this skill, but I don’t think that is necessary.

Skill5-3Hunter Eye

A buff that give you 30% INT and 30% Matk
Duration 180s, CD30s
skill5-3

Skill5-4Crossbow Link

A buff that enhance your normal attack.
The enhanced normal attack explode when hit and have high chance to stun your enemy.
The enhanced normal attack has infinite range.
skill5-4
CD: 30s
Damage: 365% each shot (does not increase by leveling up this skill)
Duration: 30s on level 1, increase 10s every level
(PVP Duration: 6s on level 1, increase 1s every level)
No element
Useful skill when you are leveling up, not useful after that because of the low damage.

Skill5-5Flamingo

Activate by shift+right click.
skill5-5
could be used to start your air combo or rise your altitude in air.
No i-frame, damage is negligible

Skill5-6Air Raid

Activate by shift+left click or by left click after Flamingo.
skill5-6
Have i-frame, so you could use it to dodge skills.
The damage is negligible.

Skill5-7Moment Evade

Do a back flip.  (same animation as Somersault Kick)
If you get hit during the animation, you will not take damage, than shoot an arrow and jump backward.
Press spacebar during the back flip to jump higher with i-frame. (same animation as Double Somersault Kick)
skill5-7
The counter action changes to Spiral Kick if you learn Dodge Enhancement B.
skill5-7b
CD: 6s
Damage: 1780%(only have 1 level)
A counter skill like Sword Master’s parry or Lancea’s Hornet’s Touch.
Not useful at all because it cannot be used in air.

6. Enhancement Passive Skills

Dodge Enhancement

A: increase the damage of Moment Evade for 50%
B: change the counter action of Moment Evade to Spiral Kick(Acrobat skill), have i-frame
I personally chose A because I like the jump backward action more than Spiral Kick.
Choosing B will also decrease the skill damage(not sure if it is a bug or not), but the damage of Moment Evade is not that important.

Attack Enhancement

A: increase 10% Final Damage
B: increase 15% Light atk
Pick one depends on your gear.
The damage benefit brought by Light atk and FD is calculate by (1+Light)*(1+FD%)
benefit with A = (1+Light)*(1+FD+10%)
benefit with B = (1+Light+15%)*(1+FD)
So you should calculate by yourself to find out getting which one will give you higher damage.
For 0 FD players, the break point is on 50% Light.
If you have higher than 50% Light, choose A. If you have less than 50% Light, choose B.
For full FD(100%) players, the break point is 200% Light so definitely choose B.
Also be aware that your falcon do not have light element. If the result of both choices is close to each other, choose FD.

Function Enhancement

A: increase the damage of falcon for 300%, but the falcon will leave in 60s after summon
B: increase the debuff duration of Traps
Pick A for PVE.
Your falcon could get about 15~20% of your DPS with Function Enhancement A.

Silver Hunter EX

A: give a 5s i-frame when you use Silver Hunter
B: reduce the CD of Silver Hunter for 30s
Definitely choose B.
It is very hard to remain in SH transformation without that 30s CD reduction.

[Skill Build]

My skill build (for reference only, don’t just copy)
archer-hunter-silverhunter-90 (1)
Most of the skills are explained above, so I would just briefly explain about the skill build.
The first thing is to get Silver Hunter to max level and the 7 main DPS skill to high level.
And I would suggest getting high level on both falcon skill. I have Falcon Strike on level 1, but I don’t really recommend that. You could move sp from Crossbow Link(4), Spiral Bolt(3) and Liberty Attack(3) to Falcon Strike.
If you want to get trap skills, you will have to move sp from falcon skills or Spiral Bolt.
For the other skills, get max level Monkey Catch and get Hunter Eye. Than consider about the other skills by yourself. The 4 enhancement passive skill in Silver Hunter page are all explained above.
Personally recommended skill build:
(again, for reference only, don’t just copy)
archer-hunter-silverhunter-90 (2)
You may try out different skill build in DNSS-KR
https://dnss-kr.herokuapp.com/job/silverhunter

[Combat]

The combat of Silver Hunter is not that hard to understand, but it will take you a short period to get used to that.

Aerial Combo of Silver Hunter

Make sure you are in SH mode before doing this.

1. Get into air

There is 4 common ways to get in air: Jump, air Tumble/Monkey Catch, Moment Evade, Flamingo.
Jump… is simply jump, the easiest way to get in air.
Air Tumble/Monkey Catch: you will cast air tumble even when you are on ground after SH transformation if you have enough stamina. If you don’t have enough stamina, you will cast the normal tumble, and you could connect that with Monkey Catch to get in air. This is not recommended because the altitude will not be high enough for a air combo.
Moment Evade could be used by casting Moment Evade and press spacebar after that. There is an i-frame on it so it is safer than simply jumping.
Flamingo could also be used to start your air combo, but there is no i-frame on this skill.

2. Cast skills in the air

Just use the 6 skills that could be cast in air. Use another skill right after the previous one to stay in air. Or use air tumble/Monkey Catch if you need to dodge enemy’s skill.
Recommended to use Raging Wind first because of the armor break debuff.
You don’t need to try staying in air forever, so get back onto the ground when your skills are in CD and cast your instant skill or ultimate skill on ground.

[Item Build]

Gear

If the prize of leveling a Silver Hunter to 90 in your server is the same as those in DN KR or DN TW, you should get a set of +8 Felis. You could start gearing your SH from that.
Silver Hunter is a INT and Light attack based class. And INT matters a lot to Silver Hunter because of the Matk conversion on the Silver Hunter skill.
It is recommended to use lv80 weapon for that extra Dragon Jade slot. It is suggested to use RDN Unique weapon or RDN Legendary if possible. If you cannot even get RDN Unique, lv90 Epic/Unique weapon could be a better choice than lv80 Epic.
You could use lv90 gears for armors , or RDN Legendary gear if possible. It is not suggested to use RDN Unique for armor unless you have already have a set. It doesn’t worth spending money on getting that instead of lv90 gears.

Skill Plate

Must Get:

Raging Wind -CD
As mentioned above, Raging Wind is important for its debuff and its CD is long
Deluge Bolt +Dmg
It is the highest DPS skill of Silver Hunter, so a Damage plate is important.

Recommended:

Silver Hunter -CD
Must get for those who want to use SH in RDN, as there is a lot of buff clear skill there.
Tornado Shot +Action Speed
Tornado Shot has a very long charging time, but it has i-frame when cast in air so I would not mark that as must get.
Arrow Storm +Dmg
Arrow Storm could also do a decent amount of damage, so you could choose to get a damage plate for it.
Liberty Attack +Action Speed
Liberty Attack is a close combat skill but you need it to activate your instant skill, so you could get a action speed plate if you want to be safer.

Technique Asscessories / Plate

Necklace

Must Get: Silver Hunter
Getting a Silver Hunter tech increase the INT to Matk conversion rate, so it could actually increase your DPS on all skills.
Stat: main INT

Earring

No earring is must get or recommended. If you want to get that stat bonus of technique earring, get Raging Wind.
Stat: main INT

Ring

Must Get: Deluge Bolt
Your highest DPS skill, so why not.
Recommended: Arrow Storm
I would recommend this because you need that light element bonus from technique rings, so you need the second one. Arrow Storm could do decent damage.
Stat: Crit+4 element atk OR Matk+light&dark atk

Plate

If you could get a cash shop technique plate, get one for Silver Hunter

DN 2015-12-23 22-20-11 Wed
The North America release of Fire Pro Wrestling Returns was November the Thirteenth. That's a little over two years after the Japanese release. Having spent about two solid weeks with the game in my possession, I think I am able to give a non bias review. I am a long time fan of this series, but I can still recognize it's faults. How does Fire pro Wrestling Returns stack up against the more popular competition? Where to start... There are no drastic changes to the core Fire Pro game play. It's the same solid grappling system long time fans have grown accustomed to. Those who are new to Fire Pro will need to spend some time getting used to the timing. The fighting system punishes button mashers. I would advice newbies to set COM difficulty to 1 and work their way up to a harder level. This is one of those games where appreciation is only gained after learning the ins and outs. The series' trademark features are tight game play and a huge roster. FPR boasts a total of 327 real life competitors. To avoid copyright issues, everyone has been given a name modification. Vader is named "Saber", Kenta Kobashi is "Keiji Togashi", etc. Feel free to rename everyone accordingly. You also have the option of changing the attire for default characters. You don't have to sacrifice one of your 500 edit(CAW) slots when your favorite wrestler changes gimmicks. FPR's all-star roster features wrestlers, boxers and mixed martial artists from around the world. Puroresu legends like Giant Baba, Satoru Sayama(original Tiger Mask) and Jushin "Thunder" Lyger are selecible. As always the default roster is dominated by Puro wrestlers. Some of the fighters well known to American wrestling/UFC fans include Bret Hart, Sting, Andre the Giant, Petey Williams, Mirco Cro Cop and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. A new addition to the series is a "corner to center" attack. When your opponent is knocked down in the middle of the ring, you can hunker down in the corner to set up a spear, super kick or a few other maneuvers. This adds a bit more drama and accuracy to matches that feature characters who set up these attacks a certain way. Because of this new feature, you can create an accurate Shawn Michaels or Bill Goldberg if you were inclined to do so. A traditional steel cage match has finally been added. Players can use weapons like barbed wire bats, or the cage it's self to inflict pain upon others. Other match types include S-1(boxing, punches only), Gruesome( a 12 sided UFC inspired cage) and the Electrified Barbed Wire Exploding Deathmatch. While the has Hell in a Cell, The Japanese hardcore wrestlers hurl each other on electrified boards covered in skin shredding barbed wired. It's different, but fun none the less Buzz worthy features include Ref edit, Belt Edit, and Ring/Logo Edit. There is a GM mode called "Match Maker", but is it very limited. All you do is set up matches between fighters and get graded by the percentage of crowd reaction of the match. There strange special events that happen during match maker do very little to expand beyond it's limitations. For some inconceivable reason, created wrestlers are barred from use in Match Maker. Presentation is nothing special. Menus are serviceable, but accessing some features can be a chore at times FPR's 2D graphics remind me of arcade games like Wrestlefest. Character sprites are not hi resolution, but they are large and detailed. Spike could have easily recycled graphics from Fire Pro Wrestling Z. They instead created new sprites and reanimated some pre existing moves. Some animations seem a bit robotic, but are pretty smooth. I'm sad to say Spike has once again mapped the pick up weapons button to the run button. Want to get a fluorescent tube from the corner while playing in an exploding barbed wire match? Make sure you are close enough to said tubes. Otherwise you'll go running into the barbed wire ropes, thus end up looking like a complete fool. It doesn't ruin the game or anything, but such neglect of the R2 button has me dumbfounded. Overall that is one of my biggest gripes with FPR. I don't give numeric scores or grades in my reviews. If I were the type to do that, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns would probably receive a 91. It's the best in the series, but like any other game it has flaws. Even so called classic games that get perfect scores from other reviewers have a few faults or glitches. I recommend this game to anyone who is into pro wrestling or the UFC. You don't have to be into Puro to like FPR, the unique game play and customization options are more than enough to peak ones interest.
